The Napatech Link Capture 12.7.1 software release introduces these features:

• Support for these features for all FPGA images with Capture Test and Measurement feature set on NT100A01
  • Header stripping
  • Packet masking
  • Load balancing with VLAN insertion

Please refer to the documentation and release notes for details on the new features, bugfix’es and which SmartNIC products the new features apply to.

NOTE: The documentation contains description of following features that are not yet released but will be in coming 12.7.x releases:

• Support for Capture Test and Measurement feature set on NT50B01
• Support for Configurable SDRAM split between packet buffer and flow table for all FPGA images with Capture Flow Management feature set on NT100A01 and NT200A02

This release also resolves these Support issue compared to release 12.6.3:
   (12.7.1) Support-ID 44253: local retransmit fails for certain filter configurations
   (12.7.1) Support-ID 44208: Issues with NT_NETRX_READ_CMD_GET_HB_INFO command
   (12.7.1) Support-ID 44203: A minor optimization in the transmit path has been made to improve transmit performance on NT100A01
   (12.7.1) Support-ID 44202: Segment timestamp swapped for PCAP descriptor segments, when segment is empty
   (12.7.1) Support-ID 44199: Flow Manager SPAN port example added
   (12.7.1) Support-ID 44188: "DynOffLayer2Data" does not work for MPLS packets
   (12.6.4) Support-ID 44114: Limitation in number of physical ports is 32, should be 64
